I'm unsure why I have been charged for 2 days of easy roam usage, but I never used my data while abroad and my bill confirms zero usage, yet the charges remain. How can I reverse the charge while abroad? I cannot call into Koodo right now.

Hi @jansenl

We have looked into it and we can see the charges were triggered due to outgoing texts.

Any usage in roaming, except for incoming texts, triggers the roaming fees.

For more info about how to prevent roaming charges, please check out this article https://community.koodomobile.com/plans-services-232910/easy-roam-understanding-how-you-will-be-charged-while-traveling-7811296

I'm unsure why I'm being charged for this since I have unlimited international SMS on my account, and I am currently using a local SIM card while abroad which should've overridden my text usage. This was clearly a mistake in usage and as a result, my bill is incredibly expensive for this month. I'll gladly pay this bill, but if there's any way to be reimbursed with credit for this issue I would truly appreciate it!

We understand @jansenl

The international SMS add-on is for sending text messages from Canada to International destinations. It does not work outside the country. From what can be verified, the charges are valid. You can turn off the Koodo Sim card in the settings of the device to make sure that you are using the other company’s sim card. Removing the Koodo sim is also an option.
