Incorrect roaming fees. Charged as sending “US Text messages”, never left Canada. Why am I having to make a community post for all to see? “The community” can’t help me and shouldn’t have to with a service I’m paying for.

Requesting Seasonal Hold (Abroad Since May 5)

Hi Koodo team,I’ve been abroad since May 5 and just learned about the Seasonal Hold Plan. I haven’t used any cellular service since then and would like to request a seasonal hold starting June 13, or sooner if possible.If there's any way to apply the hold retroactively from May 5, I’d really appreciate it. Can you please pause my plan since I’m on a long vocation until August 24th, it does not let me to do it anymore since I did it once only for one minute just to test it and after that I change it to my plan again and now it does not let me to actually use it, in addition there was no notice or warning to tell this is going to happen.

I live on Vancouver Island Canada. I was hiking the West Coast Trail on the island the entire time. I got notified of a roaming fee so I instantly went on airplane mode and had roaming turned off. I received a roaming charge on my bill even though I should never have connected to that network in the first place.
