I was charged 46$ (“Voyagez connecté INTL” $32.00 + “Voyagez connecté É.-U.” $14.00) for incorrect roaming fees. I didn’t leave the country during that billing period. I did travel from Montreal to Toronto, and maybe that’s where the the wrong connection happened.

We have reviewed the details and we have been able to remove the $14 + tax roaming charges since they were triggered due to accidental data roaming on July 9, feel free to check the details in your self serve account when you get the chance. For the $32 Easy Roam charges, they were triggered in Columbia for data usage while roaming. These are valid fees and are not accidental roaming.
We recommend switching data roaming off and also switch to manual network and select Koodo, this would prevent the connection to a US tower when near the border.

With a Canada-US plan, there will be no fees for when the phone picks a US tower while near the border,. On top of that, you can use your phone without additional charges in US (some exceptions apply).
