Once again I have received notification for roaming today. Roaming is turned off on the phone, but still it roams. This is infuriating. I haven't even left my home town, but I'm roaming while at work. How can roaming turn on when I have selected the option to turn it off? Turning off the automatic selection for network operators should not be the solution, I should not have to manually do that every day.

The notification is sent automatically when the phone is connecting to a roaming network, to inform your about the applicable rates in case of use, however, if there is not usage made, no charge should apply. If you see a charge on the next bill, please start a new post once the bill is issued and we will look into it further

With a Canada-US plan, there will be no fees for when the phone picks a US tower while near the border,. On top of that, you can use your phone without additional charges in US (some exceptions apply).
