Hello,

I was near the Canada-US border and was charged for data roaming. I did not realize until I received SMS notification of data roaming being activated.

 

It was on for only about 5 minutes as I turned off data roaming on my phone after being notified by SMS. As I was not using my phone at the time, there should be no calls/texts made and no data usage (or very limited due to apps in the background).

We do not see any charge loaded on the account, it usually has a delay until it is loaded, it can be a notification only as well.  We would have to wait for the new invoice to be released and if there are any charges on the invoice, you can reach out here and we would gladly look into that for you.
