Frustrated Canadian User

I have had accidental roaming charges into the US for the past few months! I live close to the border and have not travelled outside of Canada since last summer. How do I stop this from happening? Can these charges be reversed?

Multiple Incorrect Roaming Charges

Today May 18th 2025, received a roaming notification on my phone while taking the ferry from Vancouver to Salt Spring Island.14$ roaming charged incurred Mon Mar 24 while taking the Ferry from Vancouver to Victoria. Never left the country.On March 7th 16$ roaming fee was incurred though no attempt was made to use our phone or data once we arrive outside of the country before we could change the settings to no-roaming

Hello,I was charged for roaming in the USA on April 28th and 29th, although I did not leave Canada. I was visiting Shirley, BC, on Vancouver Island which is near the US border. Could you please correct/reverse these charges from my account?Thank you for your understanding.Mary

Hello I was charged 4 easy roam because I was in Belgium but my phone number was desactivated at that time to avoid this issue. I do not understand why it happened and I can not find trace of any call received on my phone at the dates stated on my bill.

I am constantly getting notifications about roaming even though the toggle is OFF on my phone settings! I was charged for roaming on my April statement. I literally had to remove easyroam from my account which is annoying because I DO need roaming when I'm actually in the United States!!!  Credit me please. And call me.

I was charged roaming for minutes twice, two $14 charges when I was travelling to the US but I never made an outgoing call. Please help!

I went from Abbotsford to Kitchener, Ontario. I never left the country and yet I have been charged $42.00 roaming charges. Please remove these charges. Also, my basic charges have increased to $70.00 and I am not aware of the reason for that. If someone could clarify it, it will be great.

wrong US roaming charge

I was in Presquile provincial park last weekend and got a text about US roaming but was in Ontario and never left Ontario. I called customer service and Francsico  explained  and he said that  he will remove it and will not show in billing. I got the billing  today and both my phone and my aunt had same US roaming charge at $14 each on my account. Can you remove the total $28 US roaming charges?

Please remove roaming charges applied on Thursday April 24 at 6:32 am - I was NOT in the US.I live in Mallorytown, Ontario, Canada. I am frequently in Brockville or travelling along the Thousand Islands Parkway (which is very near the Canada/US border). I often use my phone while my husband drives.

I was charged $42 roaming fee for April 22-24. We were camping outside Sooke, BC and were told that there is now a tower in that area that we could use for service. This apparently is not true and my phone picked up U.S. roaming. We never left Canada so please credit $42 plus taxes.thank you, Linda

suspend hold or get a esim number

So I’m not sure what’s going with my phone number as I ask to be suspended , I was charged 3 times even thoe I told the person at Koodo store at Square One that I’m leaving for Europe so after the first month to stop charging my visa. I’m in Bulgarian now and would like to keep my number but if I’m paying 50$ a month that’s to much and would like to cancel it and refund my money or I found out I can use eSIM and keep my number and use my number here in Bulgaria. please provide a eSIM plan or just suspend my number. Thank you

Wrong Us roaming charges

Live in a boarder city, and teach at a school that is very close to the boarder, and I keep getting overage charges. Want this to stop happening and my charges reversed.

I am unable to add my free perk to phone number ending 1990.  The website says “it looks like you can’t add a free perk right now” everyday for the last week!  Please add premium voicemail.
